What holds some people back from buying a tiled roof conservatory is a fear of it not offering enough light internally. You don’t need to be fearful of that when it’s bought from RMC as lots of light will come through the large rectangular glazed roof panels.
A tiled roofs looks as smart on the inside as it does on the outside thanks to its vaulted plastered ceiling, a feature that establishes a ‘room-like’ feel. The perimeter ceiling has an internal pelmet, which can house spotlights and / or speakers.
A quick and easy installation
Once we have been advised of your requirements, we will pre-manufacture much of the tiled roof so that when it’s brought to your home, it takes very little time to fit the product.
As standard, your tiled roof will come with aluminium ridges and hip capping. There is the option to upgrade to a more traditional tile roof capping if you wish.
Tiled roof conservatory features
Inform our designers of any specific requirements you have and things that you like so that they can account for these when planning the tiled roof conservatory.
You’re not obliged to, but if you can, take some measurements and photographs ahead of your design appointment and pass them on to the consultant. This will help them get a firm indication of what’s required.
Tiled Roof Insulation
The materials complied to make the Warm Roof, including rigid insulation board and insulated plywood, are thermally efficient and prevent heat loss, keeping the room at a more comfortable temperature all year round and increasing its usability.
Tiled Roof Tiles
Externally the lightweight roof coverings emulate the appearance and colour of traditional roofing tiles or slate so that you can choose a finish that is in-sync with the rest of the property.
Tiled Roof Glass
Available with a variety of styles and roof glazing to suit all, so you can find the best option to suit you and your home. Glass panels and Velux windows can be seamlessly integrated exactly where you want them.
Pelmet
Fully insulated internal Pelmet which gives a room-like feel and is ideal for downlights and speakers.
FINISH THINGS OFF IN STYLE
RMC has thought of everything when it comes to potential finishing touches for a tiled roof conservatory. This includes multiple colours and tiles.
Take your pick of two tiles
Our tiled roof is so lightweight, much lighter than a traditional roof, and hardly needs maintenance. It can be used for conservatories and orangeries.
Ideal for conservatories with low pitched roofs, the lightweight slates are an amazing alternative to traditional slates and perform way better.
Upgrade your window frames at the same time
UPVC conservatories used to be only available in a handful of coloured finishes, but the colour palette for them is much broader now, or at least it is at RMC.
Even if your taste is very specific, we promise that there will be a colour you like, which might be a Chartwell Green or Hazy Grey, to give just two examples.
Our window handles are so elegantly crafted…
So much attention is given to our traditional and contemporary handles by our team of craftspeople. The detail in them is quite extraordinary and they feel good when you use them to operate your windows open and closed.
The windows will be so secure because of the secure locking system inside the window handles.
One job, one company
RMC has the personnel and skillset to tackle every aspect of a tiled roof conservatory on its own – we don’t employ outside help to assist with anything.
Regular updates will be given to you during the installation process so that you always know of the progress being made on the conservatory.
