SURVEYING
All installations start off with a thorough and accurate survey. An RMC surveyor will check the finer details of the building to ensure that the proposed design is suitable. Exact measurements will be documented and provided to the manufacturer to ensure that all the windows are the perfect fit – to the millimetre.
CARE & ATTENTION
Alongside installing your new windows, our fitting teams also have a duty to look after and protect your home and possessions. They’ll lay dust sheets where necessary and happily help move any valuables away from working areas.
Once completed, they’ll clean up and put everything back in its right place. Only when that’s done can we consider it a job well done.
FITTING
Your existing frames, along with the remnants of old sealant will be removed. Any debris will be cleared, and the area cleaned and primed.
Once the opening has been suitably prepared, your new frames will be carefully placed into position before being secured in place by our expert installation team.
GLAZING
Next, your glazed units will be inserted, along with the necessary beading. If any trims are required, these will be measured and fitted at this stage too.
Then, both the frames and glass will be thoroughly cleaned to remove any marks or dirt, before a layer of sealant is applied between the frame and wall.
EXPERT FINISH
To complete the installation, the fitters will give everything another clean before adding a smooth layer of silicone to ensure a neat, water-tight finish.
Once that has been completed, you can stand back and admire your brand-new, sparkling windows courtesy of RMC!
